Turn down South House Chase, a discreet lane opposite the bus stop on Mundon Road (TL85980537) Meeting at the farm gate (TL86360548) at 10.15am. Call Rob on 07585577228 if necessary. One or two dates might mean waiting for up to 30 minutes for the tide to drop. Cross back by 4.30pm when the tide would start to cover the causeway. |

Sat Jul 6th 2024 10:30-15:00 | Carver Barracks, Debden. This is a large tract of calcareous grassland which always seems to bring up surprising species.
There are planted copses and an ancient wet woodland as well as a tract of heathland, water bodies and scrub.
Please wear suitable clothing. the Met Office have a recording station at Elder Street, Wimbish and can be accessed via their app and website.
Bring packed lunch. There are picnic tables and a compostable toilet in the Woodland Walk.
